The student health and wellness clinic can provide comprehensive health services to meet the medical and psychological needs of our students. It′s the goal of Trine’s health and wellness programs to enhance our student’s overall well being and to empower students to reach their maximum potential. Through the office of student success and retention, we provide an extensive network of support services. Parent and Family Support and Parent Newsletter Students are also encouraged to schedule personal appointments with individual faculty members. Students have access to an array of study groups which are formed and run by Trine students. The Trine math faculty offer math help sessions. While some courses are set up with study sessions every semester, students may request that a study session be created for any course. The Office of Academic Support provides study session leaders in a variety of areas. The Writing Center is located in Shambaugh Hall 206. The Trine Writing Center offers students assistance with writing, as well as help in using computers for research or composition of a paper. In addition we have a popular annual International Night celebration. We have many international celebrations, such as the Chinese New Year, Indian Diwali, and Eid Al Fitr. Trine University is a diverse community with over 600 international students from all around the world. This allows students to easily visit these cities while at the same time they have the comfort of living in small town community. Trine University is only a few hours from big cities like Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis and Toledo. Our top scholarships cover almost up to half of the tuition for international undergraduate students. Over $24 million in scholarships are given annually to our undergraduate students which makes these achievements possible.
